THE ENGINEER, national newspaper of engineering is the pioneer in engineering journalism in Asia. The First edition of THE ENGINEER was published in 1962. Since then THE ENGINEER has never gone back. Now it has completed 61 years of regular publication. Late Mr. Rehman Akhtar, was the founder of THE ENGINEER. In these 61 years, THE ENGINEER always stood with the professionals for the betterment of this great country. During these 6 decades, THE ENGINEER achieved many records. Institutions like the Pakistan Engineering Council, Pakistan Engineering Congress, Institution of Engineers Pakistan, and Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers always appreciated the services rendered by THE ENGINEER, for the engineering industry. PEC and IEP awarded shields to recognize the meritorious services of THE ENGINEER. During these 61 years, THE ENGINEER played a positive role in the betterment of the engineering industry of Pakistan at both national and international forums. almost every eminent engineer appreciated the role of THE ENGINEER and expressed their point of view on many forums in Pakistan. THE ENGINEER, with vast circulation from Karachi to all over Pakistan touching every nook and corner of the industry, is published every month and covers all the important events in the country related to engineering professionals. no doubt that THE ENGINEER is a trendsetter and a symbol of pride for the engineering industry of Pakistan. Now as this is an era of advanced technology and everyone is going digital THE ENGINEER has also decided to be with an era, now we have launched world's first digital international engineering newspaper named THE ENGINEER GLOBAL. THE ENGINEER GLOBAL is first of its kind, in this international digital newspaper we are covering every aspect of the global engineering industry every nook and corner at its best, from Asia & Pacific to Americas.
